Conflict Minerals Reporting
CommFront Communications is committed to the sourcing of components and materials used in our products from companies that share our value of human rights, ethics, and environmental responsibility. CommFront Communications is also committed to complying with Section 1502, and will comply with a company's request for reporting.
Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act ("Section 1502") required the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to issue new disclosure and reporting obligations for issuers concerning minerals ("Conflict Minerals") that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and in adjoining countries ("covered countries").
The Conflict Minerals Reporting Template ("CMRT") developed by the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI) is a free, standardized reporting template that facilitates the transfer of information through the supply chain regarding Conflict Mineral country of origin and smelters and refiners being utilized.
The latest version(s) of the CMRT can be found, along with related training materials, at http://www.conflictfreesourcing.org/.
